Central Arkansas Library System is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Youth Programmer to join our Fletcher Library (823 N. Buchanan St., Little Rock, AR 72205) team and make a positive impact on our community. Responsibilities include planning, promoting, and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities for children and youth. Other duties include working at the front desk, answering patron questions, information searching, and providing technology assistance. This is a public service position that requires creativity, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to connect with children, caregivers, and community partners. Must be comfortable working with the public and providing friendly and professional assistance to a diverse community. The schedule includes a Monday evening shift and 8:00 to 5:00 every other Saturday.
