The Taylor Library at the University of Arkansas at Monticello invites applications for the position of Special Collections Librarian.
In charge of the Library's Special Collections, including the UAM Archives and government documents, the Special Collections Librarian provides reference help and information literacy, serves as liaison to academic departments, and participates in library planning and university shared governance. This is a twelve-month faculty appointment with rank leading to tenure.
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, and must have a master's degree from an ALA-accredited program in library and information science, as well as superior oral and written communication skills. A second degree in a related field is desirable.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
