Amy Sanders Library (10200 Johnson Dr., Sherwood, AR 72120) seeks a positive, proactive individual to join our team as Assistant Branch Manager / Adult Programmer.  This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in leadership, project management, and working with adult learners. Essential duties of this position include (1) assisting the Branch Manager with management functions such as scheduling, supervision, and staff development; (2) modeling excellent communication and customer service skills; (3) performing functions associated with a public library environment such as circulation, guest services, instructional assistance, and administrative reporting; (4) executing all aspects of library activities and events for adults, including program development, marketing and promotion, implementation, and analysis.

Candidates must be able to reach, lift, push and pull up to 50lbs, and be able to stand for periods of time. Schedule will include some nights and every other Saturday. Spanish language skills a plus, but not required. 

Salary range starts at $39,520/yr. and includes excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision, company paid pension, life insurance, paid time off, paid parental leave, and holiday pay.
