Join us for another RISci Lunch & Learn session on Emotional Intelligence for Librarians. Deb Lucas-Alfieri will share information on this topic and answer questions from attendees. Participants will hear about the full course offered through Library Juice Academy occurring in June of 2023.
Emotional intelligence (EI) - the capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships effectively within your library. Theories about developing emotionally intelligent staff through training, mentoring, and succession planning are discussed specifically in relation to librarianship.

The Arkansas State Library prepays for Library Juice Academy courses for all librarians and paraprofessionals employed by libraries located in the state of Arkansas. Requests for this specific course must be completed by May 10th.
