CULAR (College & University Library CI) and ARKLink (AR Academic Library Consortium) are hosting a professional development day for ALL library workers on Friday, Oct 18 at UCA’s Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center in Conway from 10 am – 2 pm. 

 

The programs are being sponsored by the ArLA Intellectual Freedom Committee and LACI (Library Advocacy Community of Interest), and the meeting will be hybrid, with a $20 registration fee to cover a continental breakfast and lunch for those coming in-person.

 

UCA’s Dr. Erin Shaw will present on Library Legislative Updates from 10 am – 11:30 am.  In the afternoon from 1 pm – 2 pm Katie Adkins from the Arkansas State Archives will present on the Arkansas Digital Newspaper Project.  A lunch and business meetings will occur over the noon hour.  A more detailed schedule can be found at https://arlib.org/event-5892531.
