ELECTRONIC RESOURCES LIBRARIAN — The Central Arkansas Library System is seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Electronic Resources Librarian in its Information Service Department. Reporting to the Information Services Department Manager, the Electronic Resources Librarian works collaboratively in a team environment to manage the library's electronic resources. The librarian oversees selection and activation of resources, setting up vendors as access providers, and verifying and monitoring electronic content. The librarian plays a lead role in troubleshooting access. Additionally, the librarian manages bibliographic access to electronic resources, oversees trials of new resources, and works with digital literacy and communications staff to maximize patron usage of these resources. Master's degree in library science, or equivalent library experience, required. Salary range starts at $21.23 with excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision, company paid pension, life insurance, paid time off, and holiday pay.
