ArLA Supports IMLS

The Executive Board of the Arkansas Library Association (ArLA) voted unanimously to adopt “A Resolution Supporting the Institute of Museum and Library Services” during its board meeting on Friday, April 21, 2017.

The resolution is the state library association’s formal response to United States President Donald Trump’s FY2018 Budget Blueprint released on March 16, 2017.  The proposed budget eliminates the agency budget of the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
