Central Arkansas Library System is seeking a full time Project Coordinator for the Be Mighty Campaign. Be Mighty Little Rock is a grant funded, city-wide campaign that connects kids and teens to free after school and summer meal programs and is also focused on addressing issues surrounding food insecurity and nutrition education for families. In conjunction with an advisory board composed of representatives of partnering organizations, the Coordinator is responsible for managing, organizing, and coordinating a wide variety of functions and performing various administrative and technical duties in support of the program. Essential duties include supervising a small team of Americorps service members and part-time staff, planning and implementing various programs and initiatives of the campaign, overseeing the web and social media presence of the campaign, and maintaining appropriate program and fiscal records in compliance with federal and state requirements. Candidate must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of individuals and community organizations, have superior project management and communication skills, and be able to work independently with a high level of efficiency and consistency. The position requires travel to various meal sites, partner organizations, and community events all within the Pulaski County service area. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field with at three years of related work experience or the equivalent of the combination of education and experience. The starting annual salary range is $44,158 with excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, company paid life insurance and paid time off.
