Learning Innovation Librarian: University of Arkansas at Little Rock

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking applicants for the Learning Innovation Librarian position. The Learning Innovation Librarian is a 12-month faculty member who provides learning opportunities through ideation, experimentation, and creation that positively impact the academic and professional success of learners. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and will work collaboratively with a team of learner-centered, innovative library colleagues and campus partners to promote a new culture of library teaching and learning. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Required Education and Experience: A Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited program; a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the provision of assistance and/or instruction in a library or educational setting.

Preferred Education and Experience: Experience training/mentoring applied learning experiences and developing co-curricular learning activities/projects; Experience applying learner-centered pedagogies and learning experience design; Experience using virtual/augmented reality and gaming; 3D printing, mobile technology.
