Youth Programmer: Children's Library and Learning Center, CALS, Little Rock, AR

YOUTH PROGRAMMER:  The Central Arkansas Library System is in search of an outstanding, outgoing individual to lead and coordinate children and youth activities at the Children’s Library and Learning Center. This Youth Programmer will be a full-time public service position with responsibilities to include planning and actively carrying out a variety of activities for children and families both inside the library and out in the community. Activities include storytime, crafting, afterschool events, and other creative endeavors. This job also involves introducing and suggesting books and authors that promote early literacy to families. Assistance with front desk duties, excellent customer service skills, and technology assistance, along with working some weekends and evenings, is required. Bi-lingual preferred.
