Bilingual Programmer: Dee Brown Library, CALS, Little Rock

Central Arkansas Library System is seeking a full-time library programmer to work at the Dee Brown Library. Candidate should be energetic, customer service oriented, able to speak and write in Spanish, translate documents from English to Spanish, assist at Latinx community events, lead after school food distribution program for students and become a notary with CALS paying all notary expenses. Other essential duties include assisting patrons on the circulation desk and throughout the library space as needed, shelving library materials, checking items in and out, answering patron questions, registering patrons for library cards, information searching and basic computer troubleshooting.  Applicants with a passion to serve, love to meet others, and exceptional organization and communication skills are encouraged to apply.  Applicants must be available to work some evenings and weekends and have reliable transportation to get to and from designated Latinx community events.  Competitive pay with excellent competitive benefits to include health, dental, vision, company paid life insurance and pension. Send application and resume to Brian Martin at deebrownlibraryjobs@cals.org.  Position open until filled.
